Mortal Kombat X
Mortal Kombat X is a popular fighting game on RPCS3, released by Warner Bros. in 2011. It features 1vs1 combat with a variety of characters to choose from and skill combos to combine. RPCS3 fully supports this game, but it’s quite demanding, so you’ll need high-end specs to run Mortal Kombat X smoothly.
Mortal Kombat 9 Storyline
The game’s story begins at the end of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, when nearly all the fighters have perished. Raiden, near death against Shao Kahn, sends a message to his past self: “He must win.” This message changes the future, and the old Mortal Kombat tournament restarts with many changes and improvements from the previous version. Raiden, Liu Kang, Sonya, Johnny Cage, and the Earthrealm warriors attempt to stop Outworld, led by Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn.
Throughout the game’s story, many events diverge from the old timeline: Scorpion still hunts Sub-Zero, Kitana begins to doubt her adoptive father Shao Kahn, while Raiden remains confused by the meaning of his own message. Liu Kang ultimately succeeds in defeating Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn, but this comes at a great cost, resulting in the deaths of many Earthrealm warriors. The ending of the game opens up a new, more exciting and challenging battle in Mortal Kombat X.
